Porter Airlines is a small Canadian airline located in Toronto, Canada, that offers regular flights between Toronto and Canada and the United States, as well as many other Canadian locations. The airline is headquartered at Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport (YTZ) and serves more than 20 destinations.

Porter Airlines began operations in 2006, originally serving solely the Toronto–Ottawa route. With the passage of time, the airline continued to expand its services to other parts of Canada and, finally, to the United States, when it inaugurated its first set of international flights to California and Florida.

CARRY-ON BAGGAGE: The amount of carry-on baggage allowed varies according on the ticket fee booked. Passengers on basic fares are only authorized to bring one personal item, and any additional items will be classified as checked baggage. The personal item should be no larger than 43cm x 16cm x 33cm (17 in x 6 in x 13 in) and no heavier than 9kg (20 lb) per bag. A handbag/purse, briefcase, laptop computer, camera bag, or compact clothing bags are examples of personal items.

CHECKED BAGGAGE: Fees for reserving additional checked luggage vary depending on the price selected, as well as whether the traveler books their baggage online or at the airport. It is advised that checked baggage be bought online because the rates are lower.

AIRPORT CHECK-IN: Passengers must seek for the Porter Airlines counter at the airport of departure and present the airline check-in agents with the necessary travel documentation. Domestic flight check-in closes 30 minutes before planned flight departure time and international flight check-in shuts 60 minutes before scheduled flight departure time.
